As we get into the middle of the FMX Riot series of Freeride competitions wayyy back in the old days on this weeks Throwback Thursday live viewing, we were expecting to see a big return from Mike Metzger and as far as Clint Esposito and I were aware as we were watching it live, Metz was on top!
But to our surprise and probably that of everyone, Metz upped and left before the last day of competition, and Larry Linkogle even did a sneaky exit as well...

It's crazy to think but in 2007 at X Games Best Trick, it was the first time we had ever seen Kyle Loza at X Games, and he came with a trick that nobody had ever landed. The Body Varial called a 'Volt' which he obviously named.
Loza went on to create the Electric Doom and Electric Death and also the first rider to attempt the Bike Varial which has only ever been landed by Tom Pages.
But this Throwback Thursday was a big one...
