Government introduces new race-hate laws in New South Wales - Hukûmetî NSW yasayî nwê dadehênêt bo wişey kîne-dar


New race-hate laws aimed at people inciting or threatening violence against targeted groups have been introduced into the New South Wales parliament.

The laws would replace the state's existing provisions that the government says have proven ineffective.

Under the new legislation, people who incite or threaten violence against others based on their race, religion or sexuality could face three-year jail sentences...

In this segment we speak with fitness instructor and director of Athletic Zen fitness studio (in Sydney) Lana Mohammad about their upcoming workshop for families with young children that go through the daily struggle of preparing healthy lunchboxes that their kids would eat, as well as reducing screen time. Kurdish Lobby Australia asks Government to condemn Turkish operation in Afrin - KLA dawa dekat le Australya bo şermezarkirdnî operasyonî Turkiya le Efrîn


Several rallies were held to condemn the Turkish military operation in the Kurdish enclave of Afrin in northern Syria. The last of which was in Canberra, where Kurdish Lobby Australia delivered several letters to the government asking them to condemn the operation carried out by the Turkish government.

Turkey intensifies attack on Kurds in Afrin - Turkiya hêrişekanî zor dekat bo ser Efrîn


Turkey has began intesive air and land attack on the Kurdish enclave in north Syria known as Rojava. In this interview with journalist Mohemmed Billo from Afrin, we ask him about the latest situation in Afrin and its surrounding villages where the Turkish attacks have now intensified. At least 10 people have been killed in the past 24 hours. YPG has announced seven civilians and three of its fighters have been killed...
