More than 100,000 Afghans have died in 17 years of war in Afghanistan, a conflict that also left 41 Australians dead.

When Australia withdrew from combat operations there in 2014, it promised to protect the Afghan interpreters who, indeed, had protected its soldiers.

Afghan Senate raised their concerns over the air pollution in Kabul city.

Some members of the Jirga said that due to climate change in Kabul city, people's deaths deteriorate the number of people killed in suicide attacks, and the Senate members blame the shortfalls of the authorities.

Afghan Health Ministry has also expressed its concerns over the higher number of patients admitted because of the air pollution.
