Lauren Castellana is a photographer from Baltimore who currently works as the Director of Photographic Services for the Marketing and Communications Department at Towson University. With seven years of experience at Towson, she has played a significant role in shaping the photographic identity of the university through her award-winning work.
Lauren discusses her early experiences with photography, her influences, and her love for color and surrealism in her work. Lauren also talks about the importance of photographers in documenting and showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of Baltimore. She highlights the balance between technology and practicality in photography and shares her excitement for upcoming projects, including her MFA graduation show.
