Community Arts Festival Set To Take Place In Ennis
On Tuesday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Simon Ratcliffe of Féile Housing. Simon discussed the idea behind 'Féile Housing' which he described as a community arts festival aiming to connect and empower communities to 'put heart back into the home'. He mentioned the success of the festival in Galway which has led for another festival to take place in Ennis. He spoke about the work of both musicians and artists who will participate in the event to raise awareness of the housing crisis and it's impact. Simon discussed events that will take place on the day such as a panel discussion, music session, concert and art exhibition. The event itself will take place on Saturday 22nd of April at 4pm in the Offspring Garden Cafe in the Copper Jug bar in Ennis.
