Clare Garden Festival Set To Take Place This Weekend
On Tuesday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Carmen Cronin who is the Clare Garden Festival founder and manager along with Joe Lillis who is the Chairman of the Clare Agricultural Show society. Colm O'Driscoll, who is the RTÉ Homegrown Presenter and Head Gardener of Lismore Gardener in Waterford joined the conversation. Carmen looked ahead to the local gardening festival which she hopes to be a fun family event where gardeners from across the county gather to share their gardening knowledge. She also made reference to the number of gardening stalls that will be present. Joe complimented the showgrounds on it's facilities and spoke about the changes in parking and entrances to this year's festival. Colm is hoping to bring his experience in gardening to the festival and gave tips for new keen gardeners. The festival will begin this weekend at 11am on Saturday 28th of April in the Showgrounds in Ennis.
