Omari Martin is a 23-year-old rugmaker and the owner of Way Too Tuft. He has been in the business of making handmade custom rugs for about a year and a half. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Omari creates tufted rugs using 100% acrylic material. His rugs can be made in any size and design, and he also offers 3D sculpting with clippers to give the rugs a unique and textured look.
Omari discusses his journey as a rugmaker. He shares how he got into rug making after working at Target and wanting to start his own business. Omari explains the process of making tufted rugs and how he collaborates with clients to bring their designs to life.
