On Friday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Ré Ó Laighléis who has written the bilingual World Cup Anthem 'Ceim ar Chéim' Irish for 'Step by Step'. Ré discussed his strong love for the Senior Ireland Women's Soccer team which inspired him to write a song for the team ahead of the Women's Soccer World Cup taking place in New Zealand and Australia this summer. He mentioned the strong resilience of the team led by manager Vera Pauw. Ré described the effort put into writing this song which was recorded at the end of January. He hopes that the song will be played in stadiums at the competition in the Southern Hemisphere in the summer.
