Dominique 'Domo' Arce is an illustrator based in Juarez, Mexico, with a passion for character design. He started drawing at a young age, inspired by his older brother who was into comics. Dominique lost interest in illustration for a while but rediscovered his love for it in 2010. Since then, he has been honing his skills and even started his own streetwear brand called the Antagonist Club.
Dominique shares his journey into illustration and character design. He talks about his early influences, including video games and cartoons, and how he rediscovered his passion for illustration after a period of losing interest. Dominique discusses his artistic style, which is influenced by punk flyers, DIY aesthetics, and manga. He emphasizes the importance of staying true to oneself and not seeking validation from others. Dominique also touches on the benefits of being part of a creative community and the challenges of managing time and staying organized as a creative.
