Episode 102: Content That Converts: The 3 Things That Are Working Right Now

Do not miss these highlights:

01:12 We just wrapped up our Poolside Profit Plan Workshop. One of the things that I went deep into is the concept of an Evergreen Content Machine.

01:45 You need to create and develop mastery around the skill of communicating in a compelling way. Ultimately content is king and thus attention is the commodity.

02:42 Communication is being able to capture attention and turn that into something, and too many people are not taking this seriously enough.

02:55 What we do is help women become better communicators through their content so they can reach more people and make more money.

03:30 I just want to skim the surface here of what we unpacked in the workshop. You can purchase that workshop in the curriculum because it will be very useful for you.

03:55 I think it's important to speak about the idea that there's no such thing as passive income.

04:25 A true business owner is monitoring results. You're tweaking, you're adjusting, and I think you too is heart-centered.

04:55 The difference between passive income versus leveraging.

05:10 The effort you're putting in versus what you're getting out of that.

06:24 We need to update some things based on some trends that we're seeing.

06:51 Leveraging is always finding ways to optimize so that you can get more output out of your input.

07:20I like to use the analogy of shopping in a boutique to give you a visual of how people are experiencing you and your content.

07:45 The four stages of a client journey experience.

08:11 When you start seeing it in the light and understand how this all works together, what happens is you will be able to produce higher-converting content.

08:45 The first stage is that storefront, this is the first impression that people get a view.

09:21 We reverse engineer this process which is exactly what we're doing in this client journey.

09:44 What is going to be the thing that will ultimately help people to decide if they are going to stop or even talk about coming in the analogy of the boutique store?

11:05 This is where we get to assess the clarity of your message, the specificity of your content, the visual experience of your images, and the professionalism of your brand.

11:45 In order to be able to effectively do that, we have to back up and look at that full experience looking wherever your primary platform is.

12:11 Will the passers-by be enticed by the visual and even the sensory experiences through the look of your storefront in context to your evergreen content machine?

12:43 The second piece of this journey is the teaser.

13:00 It's in the teaser where initial types of things are given in context around what you do and how you do it.

14:49 The teaser is even going to allow passers-by to say whether they like this person or not, they are still curious to go to the store.

15:22 It's important that your content aligns with your overall message and you're constantly letting people know, this is my style, this is who I helped, and this is how I do it.

15:41 The third stage is the test, where you think about what happens before you buy.

16:15 The passers-by now want to test you. They may not yet be ready to buy but they just want to experience what it looks and feels like to try you on and take you for a test drive.

17:27 You want them to experience your unique philosophy, your methods, and your concepts, in a way that allows them to grow closer to your expertise and your offer.

17:52 Specificity is your best friend every time you create content, or make resources, and offers in relation to your market.

18:30 You can have free experiences like a launch event, a masterclass, and free training. Anything that's going to take somebody beyond just reading your content.

19:05 It's also important to understand that it's not just about your potential clients and leads trying you on. You have to consider also that you yourself want the perfect clients.

19:43 What's really cool is this can be an asset that you can produce one time and leave for a while. It is like a lead magnet that will then drive a nurture sequence.

20:28 We're introducing them more and more to our offers and our philosophies. We’ll make them see the challenges that they have are probably what's keeping them stuck and that we can help them solve that problem.

21:03 The last stage of that journey after we have given them that test drive is to obviously create the exchange.

21:36 You explicitly say hey if this is you, or this is what you want or need, or this is the problem you have and this is how I can help. Here is the next step, book a call.

22:51 What we've done is we've dissected an entire journey around the content experience and you can start to really lean into or play around with these different micro steps.

23:44 It is all about creating the ecosystem because you can do a lot with a tiny audience. You do not need any more than what you have for now.

24:35 All these things are what we do in the 10K Content Collective Program. We help you actually build with more intentionality and I invite you now to experience the program in person.

25:06 It's easy to blame things like the algorithm, other people, etc. What it is doing as you're blaming other things, well it takes away your power.

25:37 Where in this machine can you install things that can work for you over and over again? Where can you make even the most simple tweaks to get more out of your content?

26:02 In 10K Content Collective Program, we personally review your content and make recommendations.

26:20 All of these will be for nothing if you are selling something that people don't want or that people are confused by.

26:37 I can immediately diagnose what component is that you’re missing after looking at your offer. This is also something we do together in the 10K Content Collective Program.
