episode 1: Overcoming Discouragement | What is discouragement and ways to handle it.
In this episode about discouragement, I describe the different stages of discouragement, from mild to strong to disabling. Discouragement can leave one feeling drained and can negatively impact one's mindset, making it difficult to tackle even small tasks. I believe that mindset, confidence and faith are key to dealing with discouraging situations, both before they happen and when they occur. I recommend surrounding oneself with positivity, celebrating accomplishments responsibly, flipping negatives to positives, developing healthy habits, recognizing that failure is not a reflection of one's worth. By using these strategies, it's possible to overcome discouragement and continue to move forward in life.
