Kilrush RNLI Volunteers Receive Commendations For Saving Three Lives During Daring Rescue
On Friday's Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Kilrush RNLI Volunteer Lifeboat Press Officer, Charlie Glynn. Five Kilrush RNLI volunteers have received meritorious awards from the RNLI for their part in a rescue carried out in 2020, that saved the lives of three people, in storm force conditions. Charlie discussed the rescue operation and highlighted the dangers and tough conditions they had to endure in order to carry out the rescue without any causalities.
