episode 163: Si Sutton - Moments of My Night III
Hey Peoples, Just over 21yrs ago I put out an album called Moments of My Night. It was my first mix released on CD, so it holds something of a special place in my memory. The concept is straight forward & is essentially a check list of tracks that I was hearing at various stages as my night progressed. Of course, much has changed since then, not least that we now have more than 74mins to play with. The other thing is that it’s now gotten harder & harder to find the music I want to hear being played. As you will discover, a good night for me takes its time to warm up as it’s also important to connect emotionally, but once there, I’ll go wherever the energies take me. This will touch on a number of genres, will push some of my boundaries, will include some classics though not a version I could here on the radio. Ideally there should also be something I haven’t heard before. The sort of track that makes me catch the DJ's eye whilst mouthing “what the F is this?” He will of course just grin & Ill spend the rest of the next day trying to remember something about it so I can track it down.
