The Video:

1. UNLV Preview

starts at the top

Go Go offense is the headliner, even though there aren't many good players to run it. Ricky White returns to Michigan Stadium with a lefty mobile QB who can sling it a little. Not a great OL, but tricksome in a this is the next evolution of the spread 'n shred sort of way. Defense gave up a lot of yards to Bryant—probably is going to get boatraced. They play a Buck 425 with a lot of up-transfers, but defense was their HC's specialty.

2 and 3. The Sklars

starts at 17:17 and 45:13

Jason and Randy join us as we talk Lions, Clemsoning, Dabo’s version of “NIL” and calling out Brian Ferentz. Where were the rushing yards? How complete is JJ's transformation. How easy was it? What do you remember from UNLV 2015? Was it 2015?

4. ECU After Review

starts at 1:08:23

Where were the rushing yards? How complete is JJ's transformation. How easy was it? What's going on at RT? Where were the sacks? How good were the linebackers? What's with all the stunts and other frippery up front?

About the Featured Musician: Cut Worms

Chosen by our guests, who are actually huge indie music fans and have been picking the music on the main podcast. Cut Worms is a nova '70s project by Max Clarke, who sounds like Buddy Holly singing over found tracks by George Harrison and Neil Young. Check out their new (self-titled) album on Spotify.

Song choices:

  • "Sold my Soul"
  • "I'll Never Make It"
  • "Is It Magic"

Also because Across 110th Street will get our Youtubes taken now now, the opener and outro:

  • “The Employee is Not Afraid”—Bear vs. Shark
  • “Ruska Vodka”—Motorboat
