Im „Hinter der Kamera“-Podcast ist Felix Korfmann, DoP, zu Gast. Felix drehte in den vergangenen 20 Jahren über 100 Dokumentationen und Reportagen in rund 40 Ländern. Im Podcastgespräch erzählt Felix von seiner Ausbildung, was er bei seiner ersten Doku „Zerrissener Iran“ lernte und was er jedes Mal macht, wenn er aus der Ferne nach Hause kommt.
Felix Korfmann drehte in den letzten 20 Jahren an den entlegensten Orten Dokumentarfilme. Schon als Jugendlicher reiste und fotografierte Felix gerne. Das dies mal das Leitomtiv in seinem Berufsleben werden könnte, wagte er damals gar nicht zu träumen. Felix machte eine Ausbildung zum Mediengestalter Bild und Ton und sammelte Erfahrungen hinter der Studiokamera, am Schnittplatz und vor allem in zahlreichen EB-Teams.
Erste Doku im IranSchon im zweiten Ausbildungsjahr tat er sich mit dem ehemaligen Schulkameraden Jakob Preuss als Autor zusammen und drehte den Dokumentarfilm „Zerrissener Iran“. Darin porträtieren die beiden mehrere junge Frauen. Sie begleiteten Einwohnerinnen der iranischen Hauptstadt Teheran in ihrem Alltag und Exil-Iranerinnen, die aus Deutschland dorthin fuhren und Verwandte besuchten. Die beiden schufen so mit dem 53-Minüter einen seltenen Einblick in den Alltag der Menschen im Iran, von Kunststudentinnen bis zu Koranschülern.

Felix erzählt mir im Podcast von seinem holprigen Ausbildungsweg, der aber dadurch so versatil war, dass er vieles ausprobieren und kennen lernen durfte.
