episode 401: 401 Beach Weather

Podfest discussion, She Podcasts Unplugged, poor air quality, reality TV drama and more!

Jess and Elsie talk about Podfest. As a reminder, attendees who had tickets to the Washington DC event can attend Podfest as well as the one-day “She Podcasts Unplugged” which includes admission to the Sonic Bloom Awards that evening. They also discuss an intriguing panel idea titled "Ladies of Libsyn," featuring prominent women in the industry discussing their experiences as females in a male-dominated field.

Moving on, they have a fascinating conversation about air quality. Jess is concerned about the haze and poor visibility affecting Delaware and the surrounding regions. They also touch on personal stories of weather-related events, such as tornado warnings and severe storms, and how they can disrupt our peace. Furthermore, we'll discuss how attending events and listening to brilliant speakers can be both enlightening and personally transformative experiences.

But that's not all! Elsie brings up an intriguing idea of an under wraps cable channel, Sling, and suggests helping people navigate their drama. From writing friendly yet firm letters to offering advice on communication and relationship strategies, she believes they have the skills to solve both personal and professional conflicts.

Join us as we explore these topics and much more in this episode of She Podcasts. Whether you're a seasoned podcaster, an aspiring creator, or simply interested in the world of podcasting, there's something here for everyone. So grab your headphones, settle in, and let's dive right in!
