Steak tartare from the Czech Republic


The Angus farm restaurant in Soběsuky is famous for this traditional dish. It's popular in the Czech Republic, and can be served in a wide range of varieties. But of course, only the best beef should be used.Recipe for Tatarák (Czech Steak Tartare) Ingredients 150-180 g sirloin steak 1 egg yolk 1 tbsp ketchup 1 tbsp mustard 1 tbsp hot paprika 1 tbsp sweet paprika freshly ground black pepper salt 1 bowl onion rings 3 to 6 cloves of garlic garlic toast Other ingredients (to taste) capers, dried tomatoes, Tabasco sauce Preparation Grind the meat or chop it finely with a knife. Shape it into a patty and place in the centre of the plate. Make a small indentation in the patty and place the egg yolk in it. Serve the paprika, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, chopped onions, toast, and garlic cloves separately.
