episode 184: Titanic

Katie and Bridget board an unsinkable ship as they re-watch the 90's hit: Titanic! It's a love story all about how sometimes boning will give you back your zest for life! ...And also how swimming may end up saving your life in a boat crash one day! Come along as we meet Rose, a sometimes old lady but mostly young lady, who goes from depressed and hanging off the edge of the ship to swinging axes (eyes closed) to save her boyfriend of 12 hours! Hell yeah! She falls in love with Jack Dawson (no relation to Dawson's Creek), who lives his life the yolo way - and he also likes to paint! He and Rose survive jealous fiancés, snobby rich people, and a literal giant ship splitting in half and sinking in the middle of the icy ocean AH. The only thing their love couldn't survive was a god damn door (or as Katie argues, a piece of a wall). Will this Romeo and Juliet inspired flick encourage your Heart To Go On? Is James Cameron one of the most divisive directors ever!? Released in 1997, it was written and directed by James Cameron and stars a cast of characters including: Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, Bill Paxton, Jonathan Hyde, and Victor Garber.
