DoP Markus Förderer returns! Im „Hinter der Kamera“-Podcast spricht er über die Bildgestaltung und den Look der Mysteryserie “Constellation” – ab 21. Februar auf Apple TV+. Gastgeber Timo Landsiedel entlockte ihm die Geheimnisse hinter den Zero-Gravity-Tricks und warum er gerne den Look am Set schon ins Material einbackt.
Mit Markus Förderer kehrt ein Bildgestalter in den Podcast zurück, der in den letzten Jahren irre unterschiedliche Produktionen umgesetzt hat. Von seinem Abschluss “Hell” von Tim Fehlbaum, über “Origins” von Mike Cahill, “Stonewall” und “Independence Day: Die Wiederkehr” mit Roland Emmerich, dem herausragenden “Tides” erneut mit Tim Fehlbaum und schließlich in 2022 “Red Notice” für Netflix mit Ryan Reynolds und Dwayne Johnson.
Für “Constellation” kehrt Markus zu seinen Wurzeln zurück, nämlich nach Europa – bringt aber die geballte internationale Ideenkraft mit. Showrunner Peter Harness aus England entwickelte die Mysteryserie um eine schwedische Astronautin, die nach einem Unfall auf der Internationalen Raumstation ISS zurück auf der Erde merkwürdige Dinge wahrzunehmen beginnt. Mit Michelle MacLaren ist eine Serienveteranin (“Akte X”, “Breaking Bad”) als Regisseurin mit dabei. Für den Look von “Constellation” setzte Markus Förderer auf anamorphotische Objektive und RED Kameras.
Neue StrukturWir sind in der fünften Staffel angekommen und haben unsere erste, überarbeitete Episodenstruktur. Ihr bekommt in 2024 mindestens 12 Gäste präsentiert. Die werden kürzer und knackiger sein, ich strebe auch aktuelle Projekte an, wie jetzt “Constellation”. Die Mehrzahl der Gäste werden immer noch DoPs in Einzelfolgen sein, aber es sind auch noch weitere Roundtables geplant.
