episode 1405: Scouting Terry Stotts: Would He Be a Good Fit as Head Coach of the Lakers?
Other names have dominated the conversation (including on this podcast) but quietly, former Portland head coach Terry Stotts has become the odds-on favorite to be hired as the next head coach of the Lakers. And while he wouldn't qualify as a particularly exiting hire, the 64-year old Stotts has a reputation for designing good offenses and led the Blazers to a near-decade of uninterrupted playoff appearances.
Then again, those Portland teams hit a wall, and Stotts was fired. So would he be a good replacement for Frank Vogel, working with (presumably) LeBron James and Anthony Davis (and, at least for now, Russell Westbrook)? Mike Richman, host of Locked On Blazers, joins the show to break down all things Stotts.
