The Clare Minor Football Boss is hailing the character of his squad following successive comeback victories in the Munster Championship. Despite trailing by 0-06 to 0-01 at the interval , a brace of second-half of goals from Kilrush Shamrocks clubman Seán Fennell along with a strike from Clooney-Quin's David Cahill put Clare on course for a 3-06 to 0-09 victory. The Banner now qualify for the Munster semi-final and will have an opportunity to secure early season silverware against Tipperary in the phase-one Daryl Darcy Cup final later this month. Manager Dermot Coughlan says they have strong ambitions for the season ahead.
