One of the most extraordinary and she-larious drag queens we adore is Coco Peru who came of age during New York City’s AIDS crisis in the early 90s and after 25 years is still going strong.

Coco just finished taping the pilot for her talk show Conversations with Coco financed through crowd funding where she raised an unprecedented $105,000. And if that’s not remarkable enough, her first guest is the legendary Lily Tomlin!

Today, we chat with Coco Peru from her mom’s home in Florida about her friendship with Alyssa Edwards’ gay uncle, interviewing celebrities while in full drag and how those hilarious videos where she plays Grand Theft Auto were made.
