Cuba Gooding, Jr., Talks to Jeffrey Toobin About O. J. Simpson


More than twenty years ago, the L.A.P.D. chased O. J. Simpson’s white Bronco, kicking off a murder trial that captivated the nation. The New Yorker’s Jeffrey Toobin wrote a book about the Simpson case, “The Run of His Life,” which is now the source for the television miniseries “The People vs. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” In a conversation with Toobin, Cuba Gooding, Jr., who plays Simpson in the show, explains that as a “young, black entertainer” he celebrated the acquittal verdict, but filming the show changed his feelings.
