Gilbert House Fellowship #139: Hebrews 1-6

THE SUPREMACY of Jesus is the theme of the Book of Hebrews. This week, we discuss his mission to restore humanity to the divine council, which will culminate in a wonderful scene in the divine council: "I will tell of your name to my brothers;
in the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise."
Hebrews 2:12 (ESV)
We also begin a discussion that will continue next week on why believers in Jesus are no longer bound by the Law. Now Moses was faithful in all God's house as a servant, to testify to the things that were to be spoken later, but Christ is faithful over God's house as a son.
Hebrews 3:5-6a (ESV)
