Tom Schmidt has been using and supporting Apple products since 1986 and is the the manager of The MacGuys+, a member of the Apple Consultants Network outside Minneapolis, Minnesota. Previous to that he was the senior service technician at FirstTech in Minneapolis for 20 years, Apple’s first dealer outside California until it went out of business in 2014. He has done some writing for mymac.com and occasionally guests on several podcasts, including the MyMac Podcast, Three Geeky Ladies, and TechFan. Tom and his daughter Katie live in New Hope and enjoy movies, the zoo, museums, are huge Minnesota sports fans, and also enjoy all the other fun things Minnesota has to offer.
