Launch event of "Common Framework for Gender Equality and Social Inclusion.”
The launch event of "Common Framework for Gender Equality and Social Inclusion” was organized by the USAID, Co-Chair of The International Development Partners Group (IDPG) on March 16th, 2017. The IDPG group commissioned the development of the GESI framework in 2016 to help build a common understanding and harmonization between development partners on promoting gender equality and social inclusion. The framework will ensure more coordinated collective support to the Government of Nepal in the implementation of the "Inclusion" vision embedded in the new Constitution of Nepal and in delivering positive development impacts in a highly diverse Nepali society
