April Fools is the one day of the year where people actually begin to question the news the read online. It’s also the day when corporations and celebrities announce outrageous things just to grab people’s attention.

This year, Star Trek gay rights icon, George Takei, announced he was running for political office to replace Republican Congressman Devin Nunes who is investigating the president, and everyone fell for it because we’re all desperate to get Trump out of the White House.
