Episode 103: THE BOOGENS
It’s time for me to fulfill another one of my DARK OBSESSIONS, and finally see a movie that I’ve somehow eluded seeing all my life despite the fact I’ve always been dying to see it!
Once again, my companion for this potentially messy (and sexy!) segment is BRYAN WOLFARD from DRUNKEN ZOMBIE, and the movie to at last conquer is the THE BOOGENS from 1981: a tale of a small town overrun with yappy poodles, magic towels, girl paperboys, chocolate cake…and Boogens.
Can HORMONE MAN rescue Silver City from the tentacled mutant menaces spawned in the deadly depths of the abandoned mine?
Probably not, but hey, it’ll be fun watching him try. (Poor Hormone Man!)
As a surprise twist, it turns out Bryan hasn’t seen this one either, so we’re losing our Boogen cherries together.
