The Austin International Drag Festival is a magical place where thousands of gender non-conforming artists and their friends gather in the heart of Texas to celebrate drag.

Everybody is a star: posing with the guests and audience from the live podcast at the 2017 Austin International Drag Festival.

This year however, there was a snake in the garden of earthly delights- an undercover hack in a shake ‘n go wig filmed a daytime drag show that catered to kids for a segment for Alex Jones’ right wing propaganda channel Infowars and they made it seem like drag queens are destroying America’s youth.

Today we give you all the delicious hot tea on the Austin International Drag Festival, a sneak peek at our live podcast at the event and which of today’s drag queens will be tomorrow’s superstars.

Moral of the story: do not piss off LGBT folks, or you’ll have to do your own makeup!
