Episode 12: Café Culturel - Swept under the carpet of regeneration - Lowri Bond

How do we endeavour to improve our towns and cities in a way which prevents identity and sense of place being lost in the process? Looking at examples such as Byker redevelopment, Lowri Bond, from Northern Architecture, will explore regeneration approaches and the role design can play in responding to the challenges some communities face. How can we prioritise the need to build on existing strengths and cultures over quick-fix cosmetic reconstruction? Podcast recorded 1st July 2013
