I have cancer. When I went to have my basal cell carcinoma removed, I asked the doctor if I could film it and turn it into art like the French performance artist Orlan, she just laughed and said “no.” But I did get to take a medical selfie.

Today comedian and nurse Carma Nibarger joins us to take a look at cancer and the great French performance artist Orlan, who inspired many artists like Lady Gaga with her outrageous work where she turns her various medical surgeries into multi-media spectacles.
