Tristan and Matt are back after their Las Vegas sojourn to discuss one of the more negative aspects of nerd culture: Internet vitriol and trolling. In the wake of Internet responses to reviews of Ghostbusters, Suicide Squad, and Batman v. Superman, they analyze why many people online respond to many nerd-related events in such a negative, dehumanizing manner. In doing so, they discuss ways in which people can combat the negativity through the tailoring of their own social media experiences.
