Episode 12 - The Godfather

On March 15, 1972, Francis Ford Coppola's cinematic adaptation of Mario Puzo's best-selling novel The Godfather was released in theaters. The film was a huge hit, the highest grossing of 1972, and went on to be nominated for nine Academy Awards, ultimately winning three including Best Picture. Today, it is widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all time, if not THE greatest.

And, wouldn't you know it, Missing Frames co-host Alex Beard has never had the pleasure of watching it. Shawn Eastridge joins Alex on the 45th anniversary of the film's release to watch and discuss this absolute masterpiece.
