Legendary Matt "Doctor Fink" of Prince & the Revolution

Doctor Fink -- Producer and Writer Matt "Doctor" Fink helped define the history of Pop Music by playing keyboards in Prince's legendary band, The Revolution. Appearing on stage dressed in surgical scrubs and mask, he can be considered one of the most iconic keyboard players ever. For over a decade, Doctor Fink not only worked on but also toured several ground breaking albums: Dirty Mind, Controversy, 1999, Purple Rain, Around the World in a Day, Parade, Sign O' The Times, Lovesexy and Batman. Songs he co-wrote with Prince include ‘Dirty Mind', ‘Computer Blue', ‘17 Days', ‘America' and ‘It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night'. In 1985 Doctor Fink and his bandmates won a Grammy for the live performance of the album "Purple Rain", while the movie (in which Fink plays himself) was one of the biggest blockbusters in 1984. The album sold more than 13 million copies in the US, earning the rare "diamond award", the album also won an Oscar for the Best Movie Score. In many studio sessions, Doctor Fink also helped solidify the Minneapolis Sound by appearing on releases for Lipps Inc., The Time, Vanity 6 and many more. In 1991, after working with Prince non-stop over a period of 12 years (longer than anybody else), Doctor Fink and Prince parted ways on good terms. Doctor Fink finally found time for a variety of projects he had in mind. He built his own studio facility StarVu
