Football Ramble

In 2007, The Football Ramble was born out of Luke Moore, Pete Donaldson, Marcus Speller and Jim Campbell’s passion for the most popular sport in the world—as well as a shared inability to take themselves too seriously. Since then, the boys have come a very long way: from a best-selling book to sold out live shows. Now, with the return of football post-lockdown, the Football Ramble brings you daily episodes of equal parts insight and hilarity. All this and more, Monday through Saturday. Lend us your ears and we’ll keep you up to date with the latest stories from the Premier League and all around Europe, all with an eye for both the sublime and the ridiculous.

Mug Life: UEFA Nations League action, Eden Hazard is nearly a Real Madrid player and Diego Maradona pipes up

England successfully qualify for the UEFA Nations League third place play-off, and have their eyes on the bronze! They couldn’t quite get past the Netherlands in the semi-final but who cares about minor details like that?

We also discuss the wonderful news about the world’s most adorable footballer, Santi Cazorla, the mercifully quick resolution of the Eden Hazard-to-Real Madrid saga, more birthday wronguns, and a come-and-get-me plea from El Diego.
