Football Ramble

In 2007, The Football Ramble was born out of Luke Moore, Pete Donaldson, Marcus Speller and Jim Campbell’s passion for the most popular sport in the world—as well as a shared inability to take themselves too seriously. Since then, the boys have come a very long way: from a best-selling book to sold out live shows. Now, with the return of football post-lockdown, the Football Ramble brings you daily episodes of equal parts insight and hilarity. All this and more, Monday through Saturday. Lend us your ears and we’ll keep you up to date with the latest stories from the Premier League and all around Europe, all with an eye for both the sublime and the ridiculous.

On The Continent: More arguing at Napoli, Erling Braut Håland scores again, and Romelu Lukaku impresses

The headteacher's away, which means Brassell Meister and Signore Horncastle are joined by Herre Sivertsen for today’s episode of On The Continent!

We break down another frantic week of Champions League action, and begin with Liverpool’s draw with Napoli. James discusses the strained relations between the players and Carlo Ancelotti & whether that situation can improve. Elsewhere in Group E, we get an update from Lars in Erling Braut Håland Corner, as the astonishing young Norwegian scored his 27th goal in 19 games.

We also find time to discuss Inter’s in-form strike partnership, a rip-roaring Real Madrid performance and Borussia Dortmund’s continued struggles under Lucien Favre. Plus, Zlatan’s upset some people and there’s a cracking derby to look forward to in our Games of the Week.
