Mind Training Meditations

This meditation podcast will help you relax, so you can welcome what is happening in the present moment – even stress, anxiety and worries. The basic intention is to relax, be awake and aware so that you can surrender to the nature of mind, which is love and compassion. All of these guided meditations, whether Open Awareness or Yoga Nidra meditations have no goal as you do in conceptual thinking. There is nothing to attain. You welcome whatever your state of mind is, and just remain with that state. If thoughts arise, welcome them. If there are no thoughts, be aware of stillness. Just be with your mind, noticing that everything that appears, changes and disappears in the emptiness, stillness and clarity. Gerald Blomeyer has been meditating for 30 years. As coach and meditation teacher he's based in Berlin. From 2006 – 2014 he worked and studied in India and Nepal. Learn to open your mind and heart in one of Gerald's Mind Training courses. episode 22: Softening Pain

There is no rush to healing. To avoid getting lost in aversion we approach pain slowly and with an open mind. Curiosity allows us to welcome what is there, one step at a time. By receiving each sensation with loving kindness, we can feel compassion with our suffering.

This guided meditation was written in 1991 by Stephen Levine.
