episode 34: TTC 32 - Never Trust an Ex-Gnome
Alright. Some introductions. Nobody, Somebody, Father Jack, Kit, and Kyoko are gods, and characters from a previous campaign set more than 500 years before. Kit is a druid dragon puppy god of all things chaotic in nature, Kyoko is a winged-elf god of hunters and people whose common sense goes largely ignored, Father Jack absolutely is a mix of Aries, Dionysus, and Catholicism (ok, not really Catholicism, but definitely extra alcoholism), Nobody is an ex-gnome tinkering trickster god of assassins, and Somebody is the voice of conscience and reason inside his head made god incarnate. It's a lot of weird stuff.
Also part of that canon? Father Jack has died (a few times) already from old age, and was sent back to the material plane for causing too much havoc in the afterlife. As for Nobody, he could only be reincarnated after dying of old age... and the dice gods spoke, giving both him and Somebody new bodies, of a Wood Elf, and an elvish Tiefling.
Ok, introductions out of the way, our players negotiate for payment for the book, find out something unsettling, and win minor victories over these gods. Oh, and Dreg starts a fight again. With Nessie.
