We discuss Real Madrid losing their Champions League fear factor as they were beaten 2-1 by an impressive Manchester City, while Maurizio Sarri was left confused by his players’ lack of application of his methods as they were bested by Lyon. We also reserve some due praise for Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick, wonder what’s going on between Lionel Messi and Barcelona, and recount some truly mental scenes from Galatasaray’s win at Fenerbahçe - their first in 20 years!
