SBS Assyrian

Assyrian Aid Society (Australia) have chosen Roger Eliah as the musical director for Mesopotamian night.

Roger completed a Bachelor degree in Mathematics Science at the University of Baghdad, a Diploma in music at Western Sydney University and a Masters of Education at Western Sydney University. He has performed in and curated music festivals across Australia. He has also worked as a professional musician internationally in events such as the Jerash festival in Jordan, Carnival de Christie in Sydney and Fete de La Musique in UAE.  Roger has professional experience directing choirs and developing music courses nationally and internationally. Currently, he is working as Mathematics teacher and Guitar Instructor at University of Sydney International foundation program.

Roger says he is excited to be in this project and already he has written and arranged most of the music for the artists who will be performing on the night.
