SBS Assyrian

Dina Ochana and her brother Sumer  are the founders of the Assyrian Students' Association University of Sydney. They told SBS that the aim is to enrich student experience through the preservation of Assyrian people culture.

The Association tries to connect with non Assyrians to make them aware of Assyrians. Ms Ochana Also said that they take their inspiration from the Gilgamesh statue standing on the ground of the university and try to explain the history of ancient Assyrian Babylonia Akkadian  and how we relate to these civilisations
