I’ve made many of these baby feeding mistakes myself; but, luckily there are a few simple strategies you can put into practice when feeding your baby to make sure you are getting a safe start to solid foods with baby-led weaning.
In this episode I cover how to identify and respond to your baby’s hunger and fullness cues so you can know if your baby wants more food or is done with the meal. We will look at how much food should a baby eat and what proper portion sizes look like. Also covering types of foods should we be serving to the baby and how to avoid negative sensory experiences during feeding.
And if you have an older baby who is starting to play with his food or drop it on the floor or throw food, I’ll share an easy strategy for getting your baby to be more interested and engaged at mealtimes, and actually eat all of that delicious food you are taking the time to prepare!
