#19: How do I feed my baby meat for baby-led weaning? Many parents and caregivers struggle with serving meat and doing so safely...but it can be done! And in this episode I am giving you lots of tips and tricks to make meat a regular part of your baby’s diet.

 

You probably know meat contains iron and other important nutrients, but how to make meat SAFE for babies to eat is a struggle for many of us! I introduce you to a number of meats your baby can eat with baby-led weaning as well as tips on how to cook and prepare and serve that meat safely so it is not a choking hazard.

 

You will learn how to use ground meat as a “gateway meat” if making meat freaks you out...and then once your baby is comfortable with some starter meat ideas, I help you strategize to advance to different meats and new textures with your baby. Plant protein and plant based iron will be covered in other episodes, but this is an episode for the meat-eating families!
