Football Ramble

In 2007, The Football Ramble was born out of Luke Moore, Pete Donaldson, Marcus Speller and Jim Campbell’s passion for the most popular sport in the world—as well as a shared inability to take themselves too seriously. Since then, the boys have come a very long way: from a best-selling book to sold out live shows. Now, with the return of football post-lockdown, the Football Ramble brings you daily episodes of equal parts insight and hilarity. All this and more, Monday through Saturday. Lend us your ears and we’ll keep you up to date with the latest stories from the Premier League and all around Europe, all with an eye for both the sublime and the ridiculous.

The Ramble: The FA Cup final could have fans present, David Moyes trains smart and a vintage Steve Bruce calamity emerges

As many as 20,000 fans may be able to attend the FA Cup final at Wembley, brilliant news if you have access to corporate tickets! English football moves closer to restarting with dates set for the resumption of the FA Cup and The Championship, while Davey Moyes is preparing his West Ham troops for their return on horseback.

In Germany Bayern Munich hit even greater heights of smug than usual, Owen Hargreaves gets the jitters and we learn about their famous talent pump.

We also found time to talk about poor old Steve Bruce and yet another mishap, Jeff Hendrick’s potential move to AC Milan and the the latest entry into Pete’s Film Club, the impressive curio that is Diamantino.
