Football Ramble

In 2007, The Football Ramble was born out of Luke Moore, Pete Donaldson, Marcus Speller and Jim Campbell’s passion for the most popular sport in the world—as well as a shared inability to take themselves too seriously. Since then, the boys have come a very long way: from a best-selling book to sold out live shows. Now, with the return of football post-lockdown, the Football Ramble brings you daily episodes of equal parts insight and hilarity. All this and more, Monday through Saturday. Lend us your ears and we’ll keep you up to date with the latest stories from the Premier League and all around Europe, all with an eye for both the sublime and the ridiculous.

The FA Cup quarter-finals have predictable outcomes, Danny Ings is red hot, and Neil Warnock rides again

Marcus, Jim and Pete are here to discuss the weekend’s action, where Man City had enough in the tank to overcome the weaponry of Newcastle United, Arsenal got past a wind-powered Sheffield United and Harry Maguire denied us penalties with his late winner against Norwich. Was this Marcus Speller’s deliberate attempt at black magic-based sabotage?

Over in the Premier League we zero in on praise for James Ward-Prowse and Danny Ings, while in the Championship Neil Warnock is back with an immediate bang!

We have a global offering for you today, featuring a wonder-assist from Santi Cazorla, Ronaldinho’s latest ambition and the German word known as “Lingerkeg”.
