Plans To Commemorate WW1 Soldiers From Kilrush
The legacy of Kilrush men who fought in the First World War will be preserved for future generations, it is hoped. A new memorial in their honour is being erected in the town. Over 400 men enlisted from Kilrush for World War One. More than 100 of those men never came home.
