episode 140: How to Make Gin in the Yarra Valley with Joe Worthington, Four Pillars Gin, Australia

It’s no surprise that our guest today still dreams of being the host of the  Radio 1 breakfast show one day. He definitely has the gift of the gab.Right now he is using that gift to introduce Four Pillars Gin to everyone he can!

I’m Susan Schwartz, your drinking companion, and this is Lush Life Podcast, every week we are inspired to live life one cocktail at a time by the best in the industry.

As European Trade Relations Manager for Australia's Four Pillars Gin, Joe Worthington would never think of going to any meeting empty handed. You can taste this generosity of spirit in every drop of their gin, maybe that’s why they’ve just been voted the best gin in the world at the  International Wine & Spirit Competition.

Our cocktail of the week is the Who Shot Tom Collins:

Ingredients:

  • 30ml Rare Dry Gin
  • 100ml  Old-fashioned Lemonade
  • 15ml Bloody Shiraz Gin
  • Lemon

Method:

Mix gin and lemonade in a highball over ice. Squeeze in two wedges of lemon. Float Bloody Shiraz Gin on top

You can find this recipe, more gin recipes and all the cocktails of the week at ALushLifeManual.com, where you’ll also find all the ingredients in our shop.
