Clare cancer patient features in Concert4Cancer fundraiser
Tonight sees a Concert4Cancer, aired on Virgin Media, which will see funds raised for the Marie Keating Foundation. Ronan Keating, Gary Barlow, Nathan Carter, Brian Kennedy, Lisa Lambe, Aimee, HotHouse Flowers, Paddy Casey with lots more will perform and there will be a special performance by Riverdance also. The broadcast will include messages from people who have been diagnosed with cancer, including John Wall from Quin. On Friday's Morning Focus, Gavin Grace speaks to John Quinn, local cancer patient, Liz Yates from the Marie Keating Foundation and singer Brian Kennedy about the importance of the fundraiser in the midst of the Covid pandemic.
