Understanding Dementia - How Memory Technology Resource Rooms Work
Clare FM are working with the HSE on their Dementia: Understand Together Campaign. 64,000 people In Ireland are currently living with dementia and every day 30 people will develop dementia. By 2045, 150,000 people will be living with dementia. Every day 30 people develop dementia, fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, friends. All living with a degenerative disease that affects their life. This campaign hopes to increase awareness and understanding of dementia amongst the wider population. Leahnora Clohessy manages the Clare Memory Technology Resource Room. These rooms are for people who would like to know more about products and devices which can help manage memory difficulties.
