It's a power of 4 show, and that means a scene show! This is our biggest show to date, clocking in at a whopping 3 hours worth of music (which means next week will be a pretty short show) but to cover grunge, I needed to go deep and make sure didn't miss any of the heavyweights.
Over the course of this episode, I'll talk about the protogrungers, the early days and the rise of SubPop Records, grunge's breakthrough into the mainstream, the supergroup projects that formed, some of the non-Seattle grungers, the reasons grunge crashed out of the mainstream, whatever the hell "post-grunge" is supposed to be, and a bit about where grunge is today.
So strap on your Doc Martins, pull on your flannel overshirts and get ready to get dirty in the moshpit. Let's talk about grunge.
As always, if you want to contribute to the show, you can do so over at www.patreon.com/StarlightSociety and if you're new to our show, you can find all the back episodes up at www.starlightsociety.com/
Finally and most importantly, thanks for tuning in, and I hope you'll go find a new convert for the show today. Keep spreading the word.
